‘‘We go where few people go, where roads are unpaved, mountains high, people friendly, street food endless, history rich, languages unknown. We chase beauty, passion and enthusiasm between India and the Caucasus, slowly, responsibly, inclusively’’

Ciao, I am Ali

A thirty-something Italian by passport, a Eurasian nomad of the steppes by soul.

I published my first travel book in 2013, drove 15-ton trucks in the Andes and around India, traveled overland from Canada to Chile, led tours along the Silk Route, and the Trans Mongolian railway route, and cycled while leading in Europe.

I have been Overlanding since I was a baby and Tour-leading since 2016.

I try to inspire by going a bit deeper, beyond stereotypes, by supporting a slow, responsible, ethical way of getting to know the world and its people.

Now concentrate my enthusiasm and passion on the countries between India and the Caucasus. I design and run my tours/experiences with responsible, ethical travel as a guideline.

The Mission

Small groups: up to 10 travelers + me

In-depth and slow-pace experiences: we prefer to go slower and see fewer locations but more life and personal interactions.

Off-the-beaten Tracks Journeys: we believe that sometimes we need to go off the main track to experience something truly unique, spending time in the countryside and smaller towns and villages.

We give back to the local people and places. Traveling is a two-way experience, and that’s why we try our best to do something good for the places and people we visit, leaving something good behind us.

Arts, Handicrafts, homemade food, walks in nature, local festivals….: we like to experience a place through its people and everything that makes that place unique and special. Supporting local arts and crafts.

Family-run guesthouses, homestays, local cafes, homes, art and crafts studios: whenever we can we support small, authentic local businesses for our accommodation, meals, and activities.
